| The Wieprz and Tanew rivers in Poland present ideal conditions for fishing. Suitable bodies of water for angling are the lagoon in Rudka—Zwierzyniec as well as the fish-breeding ponds in Topornica and Tarnawatka. In addition, there are specialised fisheries in Bondyrz, on the outskirts of Bełżec and Narol, in Krasnobród and in Józefów. The rivers of Roztocze are of first class water quality, the upper stretches of the rivers have the character of mountain streams, and there is a definition of Roztocze amongst anglers as “ the land of trout and grayling”
