| An extraordinarily rich variety of birds live in Roztocze. In general the list includes about 150 species. An excellent place for birdwatching is the Cholhynskyi Ornithological Reserve(UA), and also Yanivskyi Pond(UA), fish-breeding ponds in Topornica(PL), Echo ponds PL) in Roztocze National Park , where there are special hides on towers, and also the Tanwa’s Springs Reserve (PL). Birds can also be watched by Tarnawatka ponds where over 100 species nest.
