Visits by Poles to Ukraine
The most attractive places for Polish organized tour groups are:

-Lvov. This is a city which was within the boundaries of Poland for 600 years and where even today there are obvious traces of the centuries long Polish presence, e.g. the Latin Cathedral, Jan III Sobieski house, monument to Adam Mickiewicz, Ossolineum Institute, Polish Art Gallery, Lubelska Union Mound, Lychakiv Cemetery and the Cemetery of the Defenders of Lvov. Lvov appears in Polish sentimental consciousness as a symbol of the former eastern frontier of Poland and it is to be expected that visits to this city will always make up significant percentage of Polish tours to Ukraine.
Zhovkva is a town founded in 1597 by Stanislaw Zolkiewski, The remains of the town’s founders, the father of King Jan III Sobieski, Jakub Sobieski, and representatives of Danilowicz family have laid here since those glorious times.

The town of Yavoriv also arouses great historical interest as the location of the signature of the Polish-French agreement of 1675.
